Abstract
In the article the method based on order statistics for processing of the observations, which is the sum of observations with normal and uniform distributions, is proposed. This method gives a smaller standard uncertainty of the result compared to a standard uncertainty of a mean value. The efficiency of the method increases with the content of the uniform component. The implementation of the method does not require complicated calculations. The research results of method, which are the standard uncertainty depending on the relative content of components and the number of observations, are presented.
