Management of organizational assets by standard ISO 55000

Abstract

This article presents the basics and practical guidelines for managing different assets in organizations, which can be grouped by type and managed in the same way as known quality management standards, environments, and so on. Management is implemented in accordance with the PDCA cycle, requires appropriate documentation, supervision and periodic assessments. For this reason, this system can be easily integrated with existing standard systems and certified. The system presents three standards currently included in PZN i.e. 55000 – rules and terminology, 55001 – requirements, 55002 – guidelines for application 55001.
