Open Access Policy

Journal of Civil Engineering, Environment and Architecture (JCEEA) is a fully open-access journal. All articles are freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, without subscription or access fees.

JCEEA follows the Diamond Open Access model. The journal does not charge authors any submission, editorial processing, peer-review, or article processing charges (APCs). Publication in the journal is free of charge for authors.

Readers may access, read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full texts of published articles in accordance with the terms of the applicable Creative Commons licence.

Copyright

Authors retain copyright to their published work.

By submitting a manuscript and accepting its publication in JCEEA, the authors grant the publisher, Rzeszów University of Technology, the non-exclusive right to publish the article, identify itself as the original publisher, and make the article permanently available in electronic form.

Authors may distribute and reuse their published work in accordance with the terms of the Creative Commons licence specified below.

Licensing

Articles published in JCEEA from Volume 72 (2025) onwards are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0). Articles published before this date remain subject to the copyright and licensing terms applicable at the time of their publication.

Under this licence, users are permitted to share and adapt the published material for any purpose, including commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the original publication in JCEEA, a link to the licence is provided, and any changes made to the original work are indicated.

The applicable Creative Commons licence and copyright information are displayed on the journal website and in each published article.

Author Rights

Authors retain the right to:

No additional permission from the publisher is required for uses permitted under the CC BY 4.0 licence.

Author Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted to deposit and make publicly available the published Version of Record (VoR) of their articles in institutional, disciplinary, or other repositories, as well as on their personal or institutional websites. No embargo period applies.

The deposited version should include a citation to the published article, a link to its DOI, and information on the applicable Creative Commons licence.

Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted material owned by third parties that is not covered by the article's Creative Commons licence.

Any third-party material that is not covered by the CC BY 4.0 licence should be clearly identified in the article with an appropriate copyright notice or credit line.
